The WBJEEB or West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has announced the schedule for WBJEE Counselling 2026 for admission into B.Tech/B.E./Architecture courses. The counselling process is live now and will take place in various rounds for admissions to government, government-aided and private colleges across West Bengal.
Students who have qualified through the WBJEE 2026 test may register online, pay the counselling fees and select their desired colleges and programs up until 5th July 2026.
The first round allotment result shall be declared on 7th July 2026. Students allotted any seat should pay the seat acceptance fees and visit the allotted college for verification and admission from 7th July to 11th July 2026 if they are satisfied with the allotted seat or have received their first choice.
The WBJEE counselling procedure will allot seats according to the students’ merit ranks in the WBJEE 2026 exam.

How to Register for WBJEE Counselling 2026?
The following process candidates need to follow to register themselves for the counselling process –
- Access the official website of the WBJEEB counselling process.
- Click on the “WBJEE Counselling 2026 Registration” link.
- Log in using your WBJEE application number and password.
- Do the registration process.
- Make a payment of INR 500 towards the non-refundable counselling registration fee.
- Enter your choice of colleges and courses.
- Change your choice of colleges and courses if needed.
- Finally lock and submit the application form.
Important Guidelines for WBJEE Counselling 2026
Candidates should remember the following points before undergoing the counselling process –
- The WBJEE 2026 & JEE Main 2026 qualifying candidates will undergo the counselling process together in an online process.
- The counseling process will be conducted in three rounds.
- Fresh registration and choice filling will be done for each counselling round.
- Only those candidates who have a valid GMR of WBJEE or AIR of JEE Main will be eligible for the process.
- The reserved category and Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) seats will not be made available as general seats.
- Candidates must visit the website of their allotted institute to check the reporting schedule and the list of documents required for admission.
