Allahabad University UG Admission 2026 Begins for BA, BEd Courses | Apply by July 15 via Samarth Portal

Allahabad University (AU) has begun the process of Allahabad University UG Admission 2026 for Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) courses. Candidates who fulfill all the eligibility criteria can apply for the course via the Samarth Admission Portal. The application form submission period will be till 15 July 15 2026.

As per the information provided by the university, the AU UG admission 2026 process will involve two phases. Phase one involves candidate registration and updating of profiles whereas phase two involves the selection of the program along with the payment of admission fees.

It has been stated in the official admission notification that candidates can apply for more than one program. It should be noted that candidates will have to pay the respective fee for all selected programs.

Allahabad University UG Admission 2026 Subject Combinations

The number of subject combinations available for admission to the BA at the University of Allahabad is 83. In the admission procedure, candidates are expected to opt for at least 40 subject combinations according to their choice.

All 14 subject combinations are compulsory for candidates who apply for the BSc Mathematics. Likewise, for BSc Biology applicants all 12 subject combinations are mandatory.

The university has specified that allocation of subject combinations will be based on the availability of seats.

Allahabad University UG Admission 2026: Application Fee

Applicants of SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories have to pay an application fee of INR 300. Applicants of all other categories will need to pay INR 150 to register.

Documents Required for AU UG Admission 2026

It is recommended that the candidates have these documents ready before filling out the online application form –

  • Mark sheet and pass certificate of high school 
  • Mark sheet and pass certificate of Class 12
  • JPG/JPEG Format of the recent passport-size photograph
  • JPG/JPEG Format of the scanned signature
  • Valid caste category certificate of EWS/OBC/SC/ST if any in the Central Government prescribed format mentioning the certificate number and date of issue

Candidates are advised to fill in their registration form well in advance of the submission deadline to avoid any last-minute technical problems.
