The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has initiated the registration process for MHT CET CAP Counselling 2026. Centralized Admissions Process (CAP) will be conducted for admissions in First Year Undergraduate Engineering & Technology (4 years) and Integrated Master of Engineering and Technology (5 years) programs offered by participating institutes in Maharashtra.
Candidates who are eligible can register for CAP and upload the necessary documents through the official counseling portal. The last date to submit the registration form and upload documents is July 12, 2026.
Verification of Documents Process
Candidates can choose either of the two methods for verifying their documents – E-Scrutiny and Physical Scrutiny.
- E-Scrutiny: Candidates can upload the documents and the verification will be done online without visiting any facilitation center.
- Physical Scrutiny: Candidates need to visit the selected facilitation center with the original documents.
Those candidates who were eligible through MHT CET 2026 are eligible to apply for counselling and participate in the seat allocation rounds of CAP. Admissions shall be made based on the merit list prepared by the authorities.

MHT CET CAP 2026 Application Fees
Candidates who have already applied for MHT CET 2026 do not need to pay any counselling fees for the CAP process. But candidates applying for admission through their JEE Main and NEET UG scores, but who were not applicants for MHT CET 2026, need to pay the following application fees-
- General Category Candidates: Rs. 1,300
- Reserved Category Candidates (Maharashtra State): Rs. 1,000
Fees must be paid while submitting the CAP application form.
