The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) at Prayagraj has released the UPTET Provisional Answer Key 2026 on the official website on July 8, 2026. Apart from releasing the provisional answer keys of all papers, the selection board has also made an online objection portal available for candidates who find any mistake in the provisional answer keys.
UPTET Provisional Answer Key 2026 Released
Candidates appearing for the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2026 can check the provisional answer keys of their respective papers. After matching their recorded answers with the answers released by the commission, aspirants can estimate their scores before the final result announcement.
Candidates finding any wrong answers in the provisional answer keys of their paper can raise objections through the online portal. The window for submission of objections will remain open till July 14, 2026, and all objections must have proper documentary evidence. Once the commission will analyze all the objections, it will declare the final answer key and accordingly, prepare the result of the UPTET 2026.
The provision of answer key immediately after the offline test provides candidates with the ability to check their answers, gauge their performance and even lodge objections within the given period.

Ways to download UPTET Answer key 2026
- Go to the website of UPESSC through upessc.up.gov.in or upessc.net .
- Search for the tab named “Important Information & Notices” and click on the notification of the UPTET 2026 Provisional Answer Key.
- Choose the link of the answer key according to your relevant paper – Paper 1 (Primary) and Paper 2 (Upper Primary).
- Answer keys can be downloaded in PDF format. Save this file on your computer.
- Use the codes of your relevant question paper booklet (A, B, C or D) and compare the answers to find out your estimated marks.
Way to Raise Objection in UPTET Answer Key 2026
- Step 1: First, you must go to the official site of the UPESSC and click on the UPTET 2026 Objection Portal link that will be provided on its home page.
- Step 2: Next, login with your UPTET Registration Number, Date of Birth and captcha code. The captcha code will be displayed on the screen.
- Step 3: Choose the exam date, shift as well as the question paper set (A/B/C/D) and question number against which the objection is raised and the answer option that you think is right.
- Step 4: Upload supporting documents in PDF format. The documents to be uploaded by candidates must be from credible sources like NCERT books, SCERT Uttar Pradesh books or any other recognized source of education. While uploading, make sure that you have uploaded the concerned page along with the cover page of the book.
- Step 5: Cross-check the information filled in and submit. After submission, download the acknowledgement/confirmation receipt.
